A nice example of “predictive programming”

I got so sick of hearin the constant doom and gloom predictions (especially the 2012 rhetoric) I decided to see just how many times thruout early history had man attempted to pin a date on earths grand finale.
I must admit I guesstimated maybe 20 misses, but to my surprise its farrrrrrrrrr more than that. This is just a smidgeon of mans failed doom predictions.
Oh and 1 final note.
The next so called 2012 expert that says the earth will end… on or in 2012 be warned…” I will personally burn your crops and kill your animals” in Farmville.

ca. 2800 BC According to Isaac Asimov’s Book of Facts (1979), an Assyrian clay tablet dating to approximately 2800 BC was unearthed bearing the words “Our earth is degenerate in these latter days. There are signs that the world is speedily coming to an end. Bribery and corruption are common.” This is one of the earliest examples of the perception of moral decay in society being interpreted as a sign of the imminent end.

634 BC Apocalyptic thinking gripped many ancient cultures, including the Romans. Early in Rome’s history, many Romans feared that the city would be destroyed in the 120th year of its founding. There was a myth that 12 eagles had revealed to Romulus a mystical number representing the lifetime of Rome, and some early Romans hypothesized that each eagle represented 10 years. The Roman calendar was counted from the founding of Rome, 1 AUC (ab urbe condita) being 753 BC. Thus 120 AUC is 634 BC. (Thompson p.19)

389 BC Some Romans figured that the mystical number revealed to Romulus represented the number of days in a year (the Great Year concept), so they expected Rome to be destroyed around 365 AUC (389 BC). (Thompson p.19)

1st Century Jesus said, “Verily I say unto you, there be some standing here, which shall not taste of death, till they see the Son of Man coming in his kingdom.” (Matthew 16:28) This implies that the Second Coming would return within the lifetime of his contemporaries, and indeed the Apostles expected Jesus to return before the passing of their generation.

2nd Century The Montanists believed that Christ would come again within their lifetimes and establish a new Jerusalem at Pepuza, in the land of Phrygia. Montanism was perhaps the first bona fide Christian doomsday cult. It was founded ca. 156 AD by the tongues-speaking prophet Montanus and two followers, Priscilla and Maximilla. Despite the failure of Jesus to return, the cult lasted for several centuries. Tertullian, who once said “I believe it just because it is unbelievable” (a true skeptic if ever there was one!), was perhaps the most renowned Montanist. (Gould p.43-44)

247 Rome celebrated its thousandth anniversary this year. At the same time, the Roman government dramatically increased its persecution of Christians, so much so that many Christians believed that the End had arrived. (Source: PBS Frontline special Apocalypse!)

* Roman theologian Sextus Julius Africanus (ca. 160-240) claimed that the End would occur 6000 years after the Creation. He assumed that there were 5531 years between the Creation and the Resurrection, and thus expected the Second Coming to take place no later than 500 AD. (Kyle p.37, McIver #21)
* Hippolytus (died ca. 236), believing that Christ would return 6000 years after the Creation, anticipated the Parousia in 500 AD. (Abanes p.283)

Apr 6, 793 Elipandus, bishop of Toledo, described a brief bout of end-time panic that happened on Easter Eve, 793. According to Elipandus, the Spanish monk Beatus of Liébana prophesied the end of the world that day in the presence a crowd of people. The people, thinking that the world would end that night, became frightened, panicked, and fasted through the night until dawn. Seeing that the world had not ended and feeling hungry, Hordonius, one of the fasters, quipped, “Let’s eat and drink, so that if we die at least we’ll be fed.” (Abanes p. 168-169, Weber p.50)

848 The prophetess Thiota declared that the world would end this year. (Abanes p.337)

Mar 25, 970 Lotharingian computists foresaw the End on Friday, March 25, 970, when the Annunciation and Good Friday fell on the same day. They believed that it was on this day that Adam was created, Isaac was sacrificed, the Red Sea was parted, Jesus was conceived, and Jesus was crucified. 992 Bernard of Thuringia calculated that the end would come in 992. (Randi p.236)

995 The Feast of the Annunciation and Good Friday also coincided in 992, prompting some mystics to conclude that the world would end within 3 years of that date. (Weber p.50-51)

1000 There are many stories of apocalyptic paranoia around the year 1000. For example, legend has it that a “panic terror” gripped Europe in the years and months before this date. However, scholars disagree on which stories are genuine, whether millennial expectations at this time were any greater than usual, or whether ordinary people were even aware of what year it was. 1033 After Jesus failed to return in 1000, some mystics pushed the date of the End to the thousandth anniversary of the Crucifixion. The writings of the Burgundian monk Radulfus Glaber described a rash of millennial paranoia during the period from 1000-1033. (Kyle p.39, Abanes p.337, McIver #50)

1184 Various Christian prophets foresaw the Antichrist coming in 1184. (Abanes p.338)

Sep 23, 1186 John of Toledo, after calculating that a planetary alignment would occur in Libra on September 23, 1186 (Julian calendar), circulated a letter (known as the “Letter of Toledo”) warning that the world was to going to be destroyed on this date, and that only a few people would survive. 1260 Italian mystic Joachim of Fiore (1135-1202) determined that the Millennium would begin between 1200 and 1260. (Kyle p.48)

1284 Pope Innocent III expected the Second Coming to take place in 1284, 666 years after the rise of Islam. (Schwartz p.181)

1367 Czech archdeacon Militz of Kromeriz claimed the Antichrist was alive and well and would manifest himself between 1363 and 1367. The End would come between 1365 and 1367. (McIver #67)

1370 The Millennium would begin in 1368 or 1370, as foreseen by Jean de Roquetaillade, a French ascetic. The Antichrist was to come in 1366. (Weber p.55)

1378 Arnold of Vilanova, a Joachite, wrote in his work De Tempore Adventu Antichristi that the Antichrist was to come in 1378. (McIver #62)

Feb 14, 1420 Czech Doomsday prophet Martinek Hausha (Martin Huska) of the radical Taborite movement warned that the world would end in February 1420, February 14 at the latest. The Taborites were an offshoot of the Hussite movement of Bohemia. (McIver #71, Shaw p.43)

1496 The beginning of the Millennium, according to some 15th Century mystics. (Mann p. ix)

ca. 1504 Italian artist Sandro Botticelli wrote a caption in Greek on his painting The Mystical Nativity:

“I Sandro painted this picture at the end of the year 1500 in the troubles of Italy in the half time after the time according to the eleventh chapter of St. John in the second woe of the Apocalypse in the loosing of the devil for three and a half years. Then he will be chained in the 12th chapter and we shall see him trodden down as in this picture.”

Apparently, he thought he was living during the Tribulation, and that the Millennium would begin in three and a half years or so, which is understandable given the fact that he is known to have been a follower of Girolamo Savonarola. (Weber p.60)

Feb 1, 1524 The End would occur by a flood starting in London on February 1 (Julian), according to calculations some London astrologers made the previous June. Around 20,000 people abandoned their homes, and a clergyman stockpiled food and water in a fortress he built. (Sound familiar? It’s just like the doomsday cultists and Y2K nuts of today!) As it happened, it didn’t even rain in London on that date. (Randi p.236-237)

Feb 20, 1524 A planetary alignment in Pisces was seen as a sign of the Millennium by astrologer Johannes Stoeffler. The world was to be destroyed by a flood on this date (Julian), Pisces being a water sign. (Randi p.236-237)

1525 The beginning of the Millennium, according to Anabaptist Thomas Müntzer. Thinking that he was living at the “end of all ages,” he led an unsuccessful peasants’ revolt and was subsequently tortured and executed. (Gould p.48)

1528 Stoeffler recalculated Doomsday to 1528 after his 1524 prediction failed (Randi p.238)

May 27, 1528 Reformer Hans Hut predicted the end would occur on Pentecost (May 27, Julian calendar). (Weber p.67, Shaw p.44)

1532 Frederick Nausea (what a name!), a Viennese bishop, was certain that the world would end in 1532 after hearing reports of bizarre occurrences, including bloody crosses appearing in the sky alongside a comet. (Randi p. 238)

1533 Anabaptist prophet Melchior Hoffman’s prediction for the year of Christ’s Second Coming, to take place in Strasbourg. He claimed that 144,000 people would be saved, while the rest of the world would be consumed by fire. (Kyle p.59)

Oct 19, 1533 Mathematician Michael Stifel calculated that the Day of Judgement would begin at 8:00am on this day. (McIver #88)

Apr 5, 1534 Jan Matthys predicted that the Apocalypse would take place on Easter Day (April 5, Julian calendar) and only the city of Münster would be spared. (Shaw p.45, Abanes p.338)

1537 French astrologer Pierre Turrel announced four different possible dates for the end of the world, using four different calculation methods. The dates were 1537, 1544, 1801 and 1814. (Randi p. 239)

Jul 22, 1556 In 1556, a rumor was circulating that the world would end on Magdalene’s Day, as recorded by Swiss medical student Felix Platter. (Weber p.68, p.249)

Apr 28, 1583 The Second Coming of Christ would take place at noon, according to astrologer Richard Harvey. This was the date of a conjunction of Jupiter and Saturn, and numerous astrologers in London predicted the world would end then. (Skinner p.27, Weber p.93)

1584 Cyprian Leowitz, an astrologer, predicted the end would occur in 1584. (Randi p.239, McIver #105)

1588 The end of the world according to the sage Johann Müller (aka Regiomontanus). (Randi p. 239)

1600 Martin Luther believed that the End would occur no later than 1600. (Weber p.66)

1603 Dominican monk Tomasso Campanella wrote that the sun would collide with the Earth in 1603. (Weber p.83)

1623 Eustachius Poyssel used numerology to pinpoint 1623 as the year of the end of the world. (McIver #125)

Feb 1, 1624 The same astrologers who predicted the deluge of February 1, 1524 recalculated the date to February 1, 1624 after their first prophecy failed. (Randi p.236-237)

1648 Using the kabbalah, Sabbatai Zevi, a rabbi from Smyrna, Turkey, figured that the Messiah would come in 1648, accompanied by miracles. The Messiah, of course, would be Zevi himself! (Randi p.239, Festinger)

1654 In 1578, physician Helisaeus Roeslin of Alsace, basing his prediction on a nova that occurred in 1572, foresaw the world ending in 1654 in a blaze of fire. (Randi p.240)

1656 Believed to be a possible date for the end of the world, 1656 is the number of years between the Creation and the Flood. (Skinner p.27)

1657 Final apocalyptic battle and the destruction of the Antichrist were to take place between 1655 and 1657, as per the Fifth Monarchy Men, a radical group of English millenarians who attempted to take over Parliament to impose their extremist theocratic agenda on the country. Not unlike the Christian Coalition of modern-day America! (Kyle p.67)

1658 In his The Book of Prophecies, Christopher Columbus claimed that the world was created in 5343BC, and would last 7000 years. Assuming no year zero, that means the end would come in 1658. Columbus was influenced by Pierre d’Ailly. (McIver #77)

1660 Joseph Mede, whose writings influenced James Ussher and Isaac Newton, claimed that the Antichrist appeared way back in 456, and the end would come in 1660. (McIver #147)

* As this date is 1000 (millennium) + 666 (number of the Beast) and followed a period of war and strife in England, many Londoners feared that 1666 would be the end of the world. The Great Fire of London in 1666 did not help to alleviate these fears. (Schwartz p.87, Kyle p.67-68)
* Sabbatai Zevi recalculated the coming of the Messiah to 1666. Despite his failed prophecies, he had accumulated a great many followers. 1673 Deacon William Aspinwall, a leader of the Fifth Monarchy movement, claimed the Millennium would begin by this year. (Abanes p.209, McIver #174)

1688 John Napier’s doomsday calculation #1, based on the Book of Revelation. Napier was the mathematician who discovered logarithms. (Weber p.92)

1689 Pierre Jurieu, a Camisard prophet, predicted that Judgement Day would occur in 1689. The Camisards were Huguenots of the Languedoc region of southern France. (Kyle p.70)

Fall 1694 Drawing from theology and astrology, German prophet Johann Jacob Zimmerman determined that the world would end in the fall of 1694. Zimmerman gathered a group of pilgrims and made plans to go to America to welcome Jesus back to Earth. However, he died in February of that year, on the very day of departure. Johannes Kelpius took over leadership of the cult, which was known as Woman in the Wilderness, and they completed their journey to the New World. Fall came and went and, needless to say, the cultists were profoundly disappointed at having traveled all the way across the Atlantic just to be stood up by Jesus. (Cohen p.19-20)

The Hindenburg Omen reared its ugly head late last week, signaling more doom and gloom as stocks plod along amid the dog days of summer.

The Omen, a technical indicator which uses a plethora of data to foreshadow a stock-market crash, was tripped again on Friday, marking the second time since Aug. 12 it has occurred. (It also came close on Thursday, but one of its criteria fell short.)

The latest trigger has prompted the Omen’s creator, Jim Miekka, to exit the market. “I’m taking it seriously and I’m fully out of the market now,” Miekka, a blind mathematician, said in a telephone interview from his home in Surry, Maine. “I would’ve probably stayed in until the beginning of September,” depending on how the indicators varied. “That was my basic plan, until the Hindenburg came along.”

The Omen has been behind every market crash since 1987, but significant stock-market declines have followed only 25% of the time. So there’s a high likelihood that the Omen could be nothing more than a false signal.

But that isn’t stopping Miekka from taking any chances, especially as September, typically the market’s worst-performing month, sits only one week away.

“It’s sort of like a funnel cloud,” he said. “It doesn’t mean it’s going to crash, but it’s a high probability. You don’t get a tornado without a funnel cloud.” He added he’s not currently shorting anything, although he may look to short Nasdaq stock index futures in the next few weeks, “depending on how the technicals go.”

Despite the ominous forecast, there are some glimmers of hope. Miekka doesn’t expect to sit on the sidelines for very long. In fact, Miekka, who is an avid target shooter despite being blind, is looking at put volumes and various moving averages that will offer clues of when he will start buying again.

“With what we have now, I think it’s possible we could get a 20% decline going into the fall,” Miekka said. “But I would expect some type of selloff and be buying at a lower price.”

The argument that the Hindenburg Omen is irrelevant because so many of the listings on the NYSE, especially those of the New High “stock” group recorded for the Omen, are some type of Fixed Income product (ETFs, preferred stocks, etc) that the Omen isn’t really capturing stocks when it says “we got x % New Stock Highs,” therefore the Omen is irrelevant is false. The argument that the “stock market Omen” isn’t measuring the internals of “the stock” market is false. Here is why: A huge percent of NYSE stocks are financials, banking firms, and include firms such as General Electric which is essentially a financial firm, although many people would not think of them that way. These financial firms hold substantial positions in fixed income securities. Almost every bank listed on the NYSE carries a bond portfolio somewhere between 15 and 30 percent of their entire balance sheet, and have for years, going back far beyond the past 25 years of our research, a period of time when the Hindenburg Omen worked just fine, thank you very much. Bond and other fixed income products are prevalent throughout the distribution of companies listed NYSE, and have been for years. This Omen has worked for at least the past 25 years. It accurately called the stock market crashes of 2007 and 2008 when the NYSE included many stocks holding significant positions in fixed income instruments. It does not matter. Our entire economy has essentially moved from a manufacturing base to a financial base. This makes the Hindenburg Omen relevant. I would not ignore this potential stock market crash warning. I personally do not like the odds at all.

TERRITORY victims in large-scale accidents or catastrophes will soon be barcoded at the scene before being sent to hospital.

Experts say it is only a matter of months before Territory emergency services adapt the revolutionary barcode card technology.

And the rest of Australia is expected to soon follow suit.

The technology is designed for major catastrophes which involve more than 10 victims.

These could range from traffic accidents to terrorist attacks and natural disasters, such as earthquakes.

Royal Darwin Hospital director of disaster preparedness Dr Ian Norton said it would put the Territory at the forefront of major emergency responses in Australia.

“It’s the holy grail of disaster management,” he said.

“It’s information we’ve never had before.”

The technology, designed by Darwin-based company Combined Communication Solutions, was trialled for the first time yesterday at an urban “search and rescue exercise” involving nearly 80 mock patients in Yarrawonga.

It allows the tracking of patients from the incident scene to the hospital in real time.

Patients are separated into critical, semi-critical, walking-wounded and dead categories before being equipped with a barcoded triage card.

A hand-held scanner then sends the information to a website via 3G technology.

Dr Norton said further details, including the patient’s medical history, nationality and nature of injuries, could be added to the code.

“The medical teams can record all that information, even take a photo of the patient, tag it all together and send it back to the website and the guys in emergency know everything about the patients before they even arrive,” he said.

“As soon as that scan happens, the hospital would know how many patients they would have to treat and how severe they are, and they would have emptied out the beds appropriately.”

The technology has cost the National Critical Care and Trauma Response Centre about $65,000 so far.

Emergency services personnel from interstate kept a close eye on computer screens to assess the system during its first test run yesterday.

This is very interesting especially with the new prominent star that is outshining all the other nightime stars that many people including myself have seen. It even seems to collaborate the BP oil spill.

Ask around and you’ll hear this over and over again: People are concerned about what might be coming. They’re concerned about a global financial collapse, an ecological crisis and potential disruptions in the food supply. The radical weather patterns now being witnessed across the world are further indication that something’s wrong with the world we thought we knew.

But what’s really going to happen between now and 2012? Is there any way to take an educated guess about which challenges are most likely to appear?

That’s what I’ve done here in this collection of thirty-six predictions for 2010 – 2012. So here’s what I see coming in 2010 – 2012. This is based on “educated guesses” about where current trends may lead us. This is not some sort of psychic prediction exercise; it’s based entirely on observation and forward thinking.

#1 – Worldwide shortage of rare earth metals

The world depends on Rare Earth Metals (REMs) to manufacture everything from electric motors to solar panels and computer parts. Expect a global shortage to hit hard over the next three years.

#2 – Food supply disruptions hit western nations

There will be one or more serious disruptions in the food supply that will wake up Americans to the possibility that their food may not be as secure or plentiful as they had imagined. While this could take the form of a crop disease that spreads across corn or wheat farms, it’s more likely to involve radical weather patterns that destroy crops and limit food supply.

#3 – Deadly superbug mutation goes wild

A deadly superbug will escape the hospital and get into the “wild” — meaning it starts to infect everyday people, perhaps being transmitted through gyms or schools. A review of what led to the escape will point to abuse of antibiotics and failure of hospital staff to wash their hands.

#4 – New evidence links vaccines and neurological disorders

It will allow people to have their blood levels of vitamin D tested within two minutes, with either a tiny blood draw (such as with diabetic blood glucose testers) or, even better, a laser or infra-red detection technology that’s non-invasive. The widespread use of such devices could revolutionize health by pinpointing people who are deficient in vitamin D. A deficiency, as you probably know, causes cancer, diabetes, obesity, heart disease, depression, osteoporosis and many other diseases. Well according to this very intriguing video I found today the evidence would seem to suggest that indeed something is afoot. And its not in the best interests of the common man. Judge for yourself.

With Tom Horn’s revealing of the 36-cubed Magic Square’s numerology—111, 555, and 666, which binds the Bible in the base of the Washington Obelisk, the great time-line spoken by the Cumaean prophetess can be seen in relation to it. The great numeric secret of the mystery school concerned these numbers. For example: Since the magic square of the sun has 36 numbers arranged in 36 squares the number 72 is produced. 72 is quintessentially Pythagorian. Pythagoras has been called the father of “symbolic Freemasonry”. It is said that he would offer an apple to initiates of his school. Those considered worthy of further teaching would halve the apple at its equator revealing the organic pentagram within.

The 5 points of the pentagram, each 72 degrees apart produced a formula for the time-cycle spoken by the priestess of Apollo, known as the precession of the equinox.

5 times 72 equals 360. Further more, 360 times 72 equals 25,920… the exact number of years in one cycle of the precession.The duration of the precession was known by all of antiquity’s illuminated elite. It was an important component of their religious infrastructure. In fact, the precession marked the destruction and re-birth of world civilizations, the most important of which was the first, before the flood of Noah. It was said that that the knowledge of civilization itself had been bestowed to man by gods that descended from heaven. The understanding of the precession was said to have come from the gods themselves.

For the Egyptians, the “Zep Tepi” (the first time) recounted this genesis of humanity from primitive wanderers to communities organized under the patronage of the gods. The heavenly markers of this event included the milky way and the two points in which the line that the planets traced across the sky (the ecliptic) cut across it. The ecliptic crosses the milky way at opposite sides, between Gemini and Taurus and between Sagittarius and Aquarius. This later crossing place is the most important. It is where the milky way galaxy’s center lies. This center resembles a “serpent eating it’s tail”, an Ouroboros. In Hebrew cosmology, this symbol is “Leviathan” literally (Levi – tan, a connected serpent).

Sagittarius, the centaur, draws an arrow in his bow directly at the dividing point of Leviathan. The Greek word for arrow is obolus, meaning “pointed, arrow or pertaining to the shooting of arrows”. This is the root origin for the word “Obelisk” translated by the Latins into sagitta.

Greek myth explains that the centaur Cheiron, the tutor of Hercules, had been taught archery by Apollo himself and the arrow (obelus) in Sagittarius’ bow was a gift from Apollo.

From here the Washington Monument obelisk takes on advanced meaning. Not only is it the regenerative organ of Apollo, but it is also the time-marking arrow that points to the end of the Aions. It combines the prophecy of Apollo’s priestess of when “the majestic roll Of circling centuries begins anew” with the identity of the god that will arise when that cycle ends. The sun’s count of days is the natural clockwork for measuring time. It is the deity of the sun, Apollo whose return is timed by its rising and setting.

On December 21st, 2012, the sun will rise in the center of the milkyway where Leviathan bites its tail. The arrow of Apollo marks this time both in heaven and on earth at Washington DC.

Apollo as the ‘sun god’ has his magic square, the numbers 1 through 36 arranged in 6 rows of 6. Each row added together equals 111. All rows added together equal 666. Since this magic square is incorporated into the Washington monument “obelisk”, the symbolism clearly indicates the intended incarnation of the sun god Apollo.

There is more time-based information in these numbers however. The precession occurs due to the slow rotation of the earth’s celestial axis. This axis is 23.3 (mean average) from perpendicular to the earth’s orbit around the sun.

If one takes the length of precession 25,920 divided by 23.3 the result is 1,111.

The magic square number (36 x 72)= 2,592 divided by 23.3 is 111… or the total of the numbers in each row of the square.

The name Apollyon in Greek equals 1461. This is the number of the sides of a square times the number of days in a solar year, 365.25 x 4.

The difference between the biblical year count (360 days) and the solar year count (365.25 days) in one cycle of precession 25,920 is 378 years.

378 x 2 = 756 (the length of one side of the Great Pyramid)
378 x 3 = 1135 (360 x 3.15 ‘PI rounded’)
378 x 4 = 1512 ( the gematria of ‘revelation’ in Greek) The square root of 1512 is the exact latitude of the Washington Monument, 38.88 degrees north.
378 x 8 = 3024 (the perimeter of the Great Pyramid)

Apollo, like other Greek deities, had a number of epithets applied to him, chief among them Phoebus (“shining one”), which was very commonly used by both the Greeks and Romans in Apollo’s role as the god of light and the sun. Apollo’s most common attributes were the bow and arrow. As a god of archery, Apollo was known as Aphetoros (“god of the bow”) A??-?????? Aeballon (“ever-shooting” and Argurotoxos (“with the silver bow”). The Romans referred to Apollo as Articenens (“carrying the bow”) as well.

The connection between obelisks, money and Apollo:

Barter appears to have sufficed for the earlier Phoenicians, chiefly engaged in traffic with barbarous peoples, and it was reserved for the Lydians to originate a regular coinage.2 Later the solar disk was substituted for the solar rays. The familiar circular form of coin was more transportable and was the last and highest development of the art.

Understanding that the first denomination of exchange was the obelisk, the origin of another extremely recognized name in the bible surfaces.

In Greek the name devil (diabolos) is spelled

??a????? meaning “opposing the cause of God, to act the part of the devil or to side with him” Strong’s G1228. This is derived from diaball?, to throw or shoot over or across, to send over (from dia “through” and ballow “to hurl or throw”)Strong’s G1225

The Greek word for the monetary unit diobolus is spelled;

Diabolos and Diobolos are virtually the same etymological framework, connected to Apollo’s arrows.

The Greeks believed that the Milky way was a passageway for souls to enter Hades.The gate for entering the next life was at the dividing point indicated by Cherion’s obolus, pointed at the mouth of the connected serpent. In order to gain entry, the deceased had to provide two obolus that had been provided at their burial, placed over each eye.

The Frogs Aristophanes 405 B.C.E

This explains a great part of the mystery surrounding the mark of the beast and the number of his name. It is intimately connected with Apollyon and the creation of money itself. It also shows the time-based nature of the obelisk pointing out the dividing point of the connected serpent, where the dead pass into eternal life or eternal damnation. “Oh! what power the diobolus has the whole world through!”

“For the love of money is the root of all evil: which while some coveted after, they have erred from the faith, and pierced themselves through with many sorrows”. 1Ti 6:10

A couple more points I’ve discovered:

Revelation 9:11 provides the name of the angel of the abyss that releases a plague of locusts on the earth “Apollyon”.
As a plague god Apollo was known as Parnopius (“locust”). The word locust appears in 9 chapters of the bible 11 times.

As Apollyon equals 1461 in Greek it is more than significant that the greatest symbol ever erected in his honor “the Washington monument” stands 555 feet high. It marks the ultimate point in the future when Apollo will rise to his most ‘diabolical’ height.

555 + 1461 = 2016

…and 1461 was the year of the end of the Holy Roman Empire.

The number 555 has particular meaning in the bible. It is found to equal:
“Discerning”… “The Rulers”… “The kingdoms of nations [Is 13.4]“

Vangelia Pandeva Dimitrova, also known as Baba Vanga, also know as Vangelia Gushterova – her married name, is one of the lesser-known prophets in Western Culture. Prematurely born October 3, 1911 and dying August 11, 1996, she grew to be one of the great prophets of the European countries. She was born in Bulgaria – Ottoman Empire, Yugoslavia, Macedonia or whatever it was and is if you want to get technical – and she spent most of her life living in a small village in the Kozhuh Mountains.

As the story goes, at the age of 12, the young Vangelia was lifted by the wind in a storm and thrown to the ground. She was found with sand and dirt in her eyes and she eventually became blind. Her gift of foresight soon began to show afterwards. Her name, Vangelia, actually translates from Greek to mean “Herald of the Good Message”. She would eventually be referred to as Baba Vanga. Baba means grandmother or old woman, but in this case I think it could be similar to Baba Yaga – an Eastern witch-like woman who is sometimes portrayed as a wise giver of advice for those that seek it from her.

Indeed that’s what she was. People would line up to get advice on loved ones, illnesses, etc. She had a good knowledge of herbal remedies and prescribed these often. She was also able to communicate with spirits and could “see” a person’s life and intentions as though it were a movie to her.

Baba Vanga is credited with foretelling many future events that have already happened. During the earlier years, it is said that her older brother, Vasil, had joined the army and was ready to go to war. Baba Vanga cried and begged him not to go as he would die at the age of 23. Despite the warning, her brother left and eventually surrendered to the Germans who tortured and later executed him. She is believed to have predicted the break-up of the Soviet Union, the Chernobyl disaster, the death of Princess Diana, Boris Yeltsin’s electoral victory and the date of Stalin’s death but I can’t find the original prophecies to verify these.

Over the years, she was visited by many political leaders, including Adolph Hitler. Always the one to turn away bad people after exposing their hidden secrets, Hitler was seen leaving Baba Vanga’s house in a bad mood. Had she booted him with harsh words or just told him a future he didn’t want to hear I haven’t found.

September 11
In 1989 she predicted the World Trade Center disaster in the following statement:

“Horror, horror! The American brethren will fall after being attacked by the steel birds. The wolves will be howling in a bush, and innocent blood will be gushing.”

“Brethren” is believed to refer to the “Twin” Towers or the “Brothers”. “Steel Birds” are obviously the jets. The part about the bush is believed to refer to President Bush.

Russian Disaster
In 1980, she even predicted:

“At the turn of the century, in August of 1999 or 2000, Kursk will be covered with water, and the whole world will be weeping over it.”

Kursk was the name of a large city in Russia, also the site of the largest tank battle of WWII. Nobody could understand how the city would be covered by water but the meaning was clear on August 12, 2000, when the Russian submarine, Kursk, named after the city, suffered an explosion and left the survivors for dead at the bottom of the ocean. I remember this news story well. The Russian government did nothing to try and rescue the survivors while the British and Norwegian rescue attempts failed. Baba Vanga was even able to predict the month and a 50% chance of the year this would happen.

Communications with Spirits and Aliens?

She is also known in the U.F.O. community for claims that she speaks with an Alien race named the Vamfim. As she regularly conversed with spirits, who knows if it’s real or hoaxed (on the aliens’ account if we take Vanga for her word). They claim to be from the 3rd planet or realm from Earth – depending where you look. They’re here to help and there are many references to the Vamfim around the net now. I do believe it was Baba Vanga who started the belief in the Vamfim but I’ll save more on that for possibly a future article when I have more information.

Some people that have studied Baba Vanga’s predictions say that she was roughly 80% accurate. However, as can be expected, there are the skeptics that believe many of her predictions were written after the fact. Since Vanga was only semi-literate, her prophecies were written down by those around her. As she is well-known in Europe, she is relatively unknown in the West and I have no mention of her in any of my books and the only information I can find is online which deals mostly with her life and the summed up list of correct predictions. The only books I can find of her have yet to be translated to English so it doesn’t look like I can research more than I have for the last few hours online.

Baba Vanga was a Bulgarian alleged clairvoyant. She convinced many followers that she possessed paranormal abilities. Also known as “The Blind Prophetess”, here are her many, relatively unknown predictions.

2010 – World War III. War will begin in November 2010 and end in October 2014. Will begin as usual, then nuclear will be used initially, and then chemical weapons.

2011 – As a result of the fallout of nuclear fallout in the northern hemisphere will not be any animals or vegetation. Then Muslims will wage war against chemical surviving Europeans.

2014 – Most people will suffer skin cancer and other skin diseases (a consequence of chemical warfare).

2016 – Europe almost lonely (empty).

2018 – New China becomes a world power. Developing countries in turn operated from exploiters.

2023 – A little bit of change in the Earth’s orbit.

2025 – Europe still little settled.

2028 – Creating a new energy source (probably a controlled thermonuclear reaction). Hunger is gradually being overcome. Launched a manned spacecraft to Venus.

2033 – The polar ice are melting. Greater levels of the oceans.

2043 – The world economy is thriving. In Europe, Muslims rule.

2046 – any bodies (organs) can be manufactured (cloning?). Replacing the bodies is becoming one of the best methods of treatment.

Quetzalcoatl (Classical Nahuatl: Quetzalcohu?tl [ketsa??ko.a?t?]) is a Mesoamerican deity whose name comes from the Nahuatl language and has the meaning of “feathered-serpent”.

The worship of a feathered serpent deity is first documented in Teotihuacan in the Late Preclassic through the Early Classic period (400 BCE– 600CE) of Mesoamerican chronology – “Teotihuacan arose as a new religious center in the Mexican Highland, around the time of Christ…” — whereafter it appears to have spread throughout Mesoamerica by the Late Classic (600 –- 900 CE). In the Postclassic period (900 – 1519 CE) the worship of the feathered serpent deity was based in the primary Mexican religious center of Cholula. It is in this period that the deity is known to have been named “Quetzalcoatl” by his Nahua followers. In the Maya area he was known as Kukulcan or Ququmatz, names that also translate as “feathered serpent” in different Mayan languages. In the era following the 16th-century Spanish Conquest a number of sources were written that describe the god “Quetzalcoatl” and relates him to a ruler of the mythico-historic city of Tollan called by the names “Ce Acatl”, “Topiltzin”, “Nacxitl” or “Quetzalcoatl”. It is a matter of much debate among historians to which degree, or whether at all, these narratives about this legendary Toltec ruler Topiltzin Ce Acatl Quetzalcoatl describe actual historical events. Furthermore early Spanish sources written by clerics tend to identify the god-ruler “Quetzalcoatl” of these narratives with either Hernán Cortés or St. Thomas—an identification which is also a source of diversity of opinions about the nature of “Quetzalcoatl”.

Among the Aztecs, whose beliefs are the best-documented in the historical sources, Quetzalcoatl was related to gods of the wind, of Venus, of the dawn, of merchants and of arts, crafts and knowledge. He was also the patron god of the Aztec priesthood, of learning and knowledge. Quetzalcoatl was one of several important gods in the Aztec pantheon along with the gods Tlaloc, Tezcatlipoca and Huitzilopochtli.

The Maya and Incas of South America believed a race of giants existed on Earth before the great flood. So did many other ancient civilizations. Some took them for gods. others left likenesses of them in stone, or wrote about them in their histories. As long as 6000 years ago, another remarkable civilization evolved.
